Residential Home Addition — full two-story addition

ESM Construction LLC planned and built a full two-story addition that nearly doubled the footprint of the original home. The new structure was framed, sheathed, weather-wrapped, and finished with siding, trim, and windows selected to integrate seamlessly with the existing house.

Addition Project 01 — Residential Addition & Interior Stair Connection

This residential addition was constructed to provide a direct interior connection between the home's lower basement/garage level and the main living level. Previously, accessing the lower level required going outside and entering through the garage. The project involved foundation and concrete work, structural modifications to the existing house, wall and roof framing with quality structural lumber and connectors, new window and door openings, exterior sheathing and weather protection, roofing, siding and trim, and construction of a new interior staircase and railing system — completed through the required inspection process. The finished addition provides convenient interior access between both levels while blending naturally with the architecture and exterior finish of the existing home.
